National Means-Cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme Examination, 2024 Conduct of Examination on 08-12-2024 Certain information and guidelines Under this scheme, selection of the candidates for award of scholarships will be made through conduct of written examination for those who have passed class VII for the academic session 2023 and promoted to class VIII for the academic session 2024. 08-12-2024 న జరుగనున్న నేషనల్ మీన్స్ కమ్ మెరిట్ స్కాలర్షిప్ పరీక్ష (NMMS) కొరకు దరఖాస్తు చేసుకొనుటకు ఆన్లైన్ అప్లికేషన్ ను ప్రభుత్వ పరీక్షల కార్యాలయ వెబ్సైట్ www.bse.ap.gov.in నందు 05-08-2024 నుండి అందుబాటులో ఉంచడమైనది. ఈ పరీక్షకు నమోదు చేసుకొనుటకు చివరి తేదీని 24-09-2024 వరకు పొడిగించడమైనది. ప్రింటెడ్ నామినల్ రోల్ మరియు ఒరిజినల్ SBI కలెక్ట్ రశీదును సంబంధిత జిల్లా విద్యా శాఖాధికారి వారి కార్యాలయంలో సమర్పించుటకు చివరి తేదీ 27-09-2024.

ఆంధ్ర ప్రదేశ్ రాష్ట్రంలోని ప్రభుత్వ, జిల్లా పరిషత్, మునిసిపల్, ఎయిడెడ్, మండల పరిషత్ ప్రాధమికోన్నత పాఠశాలలు మరియు వసతి సౌకర్యం లేని ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ ఆదర్శ పాఠశాలలలో 8 వ తరగతి చదువుచూ, కుటుంబ సంవత్సరాదాయం రూ. 3,50,000/- లోపు ఉన్న విద్యార్ధులు అందరూ ఈ పరీక్ష వ్రాయుటకు అర్హులు. నమోదు చేసే సమయంలో విద్యార్ధి ఆధార్ కార్డ్ లో ఉన్న విధంగానే విద్యార్ధి పేరు నమోదు చేయవలెను. దరఖాస్తు చేసుకొనుటకు ఎటువంటి ధృవపత్రాలు అవసరం లేదు గాని పరీక్ష వ్రాసే సమయమునకు అన్ని ధృవపత్రాలు సిద్ధం చేసుకొనవలెను. పరీక్ష రుసుము ఓ.సీ, బి.సి విద్యార్దులకు రూ.100/- మరియు యస్.సి, ఎస్.టి విద్యార్థులకు రూ.50/-. పూర్తి వివరముల కొరకు ప్రభుత్వ పరీక్షల సంచాలకుల కార్యాలయపు వెబ్ సైటు www.bse.ap.gov.in నందు గానీ లేదా సంబంధిత జిల్లా విద్యాశాఖాధికారి వారి కార్యాలయంలో గాని తెలుసుకొనవలసినదిగా ప్రభుత్వ పరీక్షల సంచాలకులు శ్రీ డి దేవానంద రెడ్డి గారు తెలియజేసారు.

నమోదు చేసే సమయంలో విద్యార్ధి ఆధార్ కార్డ్ లో ఉన్న విధంగానే విద్యార్థి పేరు, పుట్టిన తేదీ మరియు తండ్రి పేరు నమోదు చేయవలెను. దరఖాస్తు చేసుకొనుటకు ఎటువంటి ధృవపత్రాలు అవసరం లేదు గాని పరీక్ష వ్రాసే సమయమునకు అన్ని ధృవపత్రాలు సిద్ధం చేసుకొనవలెను. పరీక్ష రుసుము ఓ.సీ, బి.సి విద్యార్థులకు రూ.100/- మరియు యస్.సి, యస్.టి విద్యార్థులకు రూ.50/-. ది. 10-09-2024 నుండి పరీక్ష రుసుమును ఆన్లైన్ అప్లికేషన్ లో ఇవ్వబడిన SBI Collect లింకు ద్వారా మాత్రమే చెల్లించవలెను. పూర్తి వివరముల కొరకు ప్రభుత్వ పరీక్షల సంచాలకుల కార్యాలయపు వెబ్ సైటు www.bse.ap.gov.in నందు గానీ లేదా సంబంధిత జిల్లా విద్యాశాఖాధికారి వారి కార్యాలయంలో గాని తెలుసుకొనవలసినదిగా ప్రభుత్వ పరీక్షల సంచాలకులు శ్రీ డి దేవానంద రెడ్డి గారు తెలియజేసారు.

The main objectives of this examination are:

• To award of scholarships to the meritorious students who are studying in Government/ Zilla Parishad/ Municipal / MPUP (Running 8th class) /AP Model (Day scholars only) /Government Aided Managements whose parental annual income is below Rs.3,50,000/-.
• To arrest dropouts at Class VIII and to encourage those students to continue their studies till class XII.
• To encourage the meritorious students those who are economically poor.

NMMS Scholarship:

Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of performance in examination. The scholarship starts from Class IX and would continue till Class XII @ Rs. 12,000/- per annum subject to fulfillment of conditions issued by Ministry of Education, New Delhi.

Reservation:

The beneficiaries are being selected basing on the merit and as per the reservation norms followed by the state

NMMS Eligibility:

candidates who

1. got minimum 55% of marks for OC/BC candidates and 50% for SC/ST in VII Standard.
2. are studying in Government / Zilla Parishad/Municipal/MPUP (Running 8th class)/ AP Model (Day scholars only)/Government Aided Schools are only eligible to appear for the examination.
3. whose parental annual income is below Rs.3,50,000/- from all sources is eligible to appear for the examination (an Income certificate from Mandal Revenue Officer has to be submitted as proof).

PATTERN OF EXAMINATION:
Examination:

Duration for both MAT and SAT is 180 Minutes

QUALIFYING PERCENTAGE:

1. GEN, BC & PH : 40% (36 MARKS)
2. SC & ST : 32% (29 MARKS)

NOTE: The student must Qualify both the tests i.e., Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) with at least 40% marks in aggregate taken together for these two tests.
